The approach adopted in conducting this evaluation was a participatory one. It involved the following processes:
- Review of secondary material, such as reports, mid-term review and other relevant documentation related to the Sushasini programme. Desk review of PRI/NGO initiatives in Andhra Pradesh
- Held FGDs with key stakeholders in different locations of KMVS interventions and also in an area where there was no NGO intervention.
- Meetings with the two Sanghatan members, with elected women and other panchayat leaders
